Why does the Sprinter cost $10,000 more?

The Mercedes Benz Sprinter carries an $8,000 higher base price than the Ford Transit 350, and its larger interior dimensions require additional high-end materials, fabrication time, and custom mounting solutions — which add roughly $1,500 in labor. For many operators, the Sprinter's extra cargo volume and premium build quality justify the difference. For others, the Transit is the smarter ROI choice. Both deliver the same Corghi equipment and power systems.

Fabrication and installation represent the single largest investment in craftsmanship in every build — costing more than the Corghi tire system itself. That's because the labor required to properly engineer, build, and commission a mobile service unit is substantial. Components matter, but it's the engineering and hands-on integration that turn a collection of parts into a service operation you can rely on every day.
